Reppin the Arts

I'm a hopeless fanatic, obsessing over everything artistic and [delusionally] thinking I can dip my hands into all aspects of art. Unfortunately for me, but fortunately for all of you, I often don't share what I do simply because it is the epitome of amateur "art". I laugh at myself but love and admire others who have tried and succeeded in this competitive world of subjectivity. I am raising my hat to all of you currently trying to make a living out of something that most think is simply a "hobby". F*ck the critics and keep on keepin' on because chances are you have something to share with the world. So I say sew that dress, paint that canvas, photograph that incredibly skinny girl in black & white, and sculpt that junkyard metal. If you couldn't tell, I'm reppin' the arts.

The definition of spring time? A cute pair of sunglasses, new clothes, and a floppy hat. I spent this lazy Sunday splurging in Pinecrest and I am incredibly satisfied with the result. I ended up buying this cute white, beachy shirt from a store that was new to me then I headed to TJMaxx and found some adorable Jessica Simpson shades, a classic floppy hat, and an always needed lace bra. I spent less than what I allowed myself and got exactly what I needed (can you say smart shopping?). I apologize for sounding so girly but I am very excited! These photos will help explain how I feel.
